The day has come that you have been waiting so long for. You have planned for this, for some it has taken many years for the dream to come to fruition. It’s a special moment that you and your family will remember for years and a beginning to making memories. It’s delivery day of your Ward Cedar log home.
Delivery day is a not just busy, but it an exciting day as well. You have done the proper preparation prior to delivery to be sure everything goes smoothly. There are a lot of materials that go into your log home and you may be thinking where am I going to put all of this? Let Ward Cedar Log Homes take some stress off your shoulders. How are we going to do that you may be wondering? The answer is arranging deliveries at your convenience.
Most log homes take up two trailer loads that arrive on a 65 foot long tractor trailer. Now that’s a lot of material. We don’t want you to worry about where to put all of that at one time. Ward will schedule each load when it is convenient.
Let’s say you have a 1,500 square foot home that will require two loads. The first load will arrive and will consist of your floor framing, logs, rough bucks and trim for windows/doors, roofing materials, and possibly more items that it takes for you to get started on your log home. Your builder estimates that it will take roughly 2-3 weeks before all the other items are needed. Not a problem. Ward will schedule the second load when your builder needs it. This truck load will have your windows, T&G, shingles, etc.
Having deliveries arranged at your convenience saves you time and energy so you don’t have to move around materials all at once. Having the windows and finished items come last protects them from the outside weather as they won’t be on the building site for long prior to installation.
We want your dream log home to go smoothly and anything we can do to help along the way is added peace of mind for you.
