Small Log Cabin Kits & Camp Plans

For the adventurer in all of us, Ward offers delightful smaller log cabins. Named after remote Maine lakes, these log cabin plans range from 300 to 800+ square feet, with packages starting at $35,000. Every plan is fully customizable.

Ward’s small log cabin kits are designed for a simpler kind of living. Perfect for lakeside retreats, mountain getaways, hunting camps, or a quiet place in the woods. Open floor plans, sleeping lofts, and covered porches make the most of every square foot. Small footprint, cedar, and built to last.

Every plan gives you a place to start. Ward can review changes to the layout, windows, doors, porch, and other details based on your land, budget, and building goals.

Looking for something different? We also offer hybrid/timber homes, and any of our log home plans can be adapted to these styles. Still haven’t found your perfect plan? We’ll help you create one from scratch, designed just for you – at no additional cost.

Whether you’re ready to start a conversation or just exploring possibilities, we are here to listen, guide, and inspire.

What’s Included in a Ward Log Cabin Kit?

When comparing cabin kits, it’s important to understand what you’re getting.

Ward manufacturers its log home materials packages in Maine, using precision-cut Northern White Cedar logs and other components prepared for construction. Package materials vary depending on the floor plan and options selected.

A Ward materials package is not a turnkey cabin. Your project will also involve site preparation, a foundation, construction labor, and other materials and services needed to complete the cabin.

You can review our log home materials package to see what Ward supplies and which items are handled separately.
