Jane and Marcus Sharpe
Design Ltd.
BioJane and Marcus Sharpe
We are Jane and Don Sharpe, of Design Limited Homes, Newtown, CT. We live in a Ward Cedar Log Home and have represented the company for almost 20 years. But our love of cedar logs goes back to the 1970s, when we ordered from Ward, choosing the company for its premium cedar and reputation. We did our first construction ourselves, log by log, learning masonry, electrical, and plumbing. In the 1980s, we built our present Ward home. As we neared retirement, we liked the company so much that we asked to become authorized reps.
Today, people regularly visit our Ward home, tell us what they like and don't like, and share a cup of coffee. We have books of Ward house plans. Most clients, however, want to create their own design. That's our forte. We listen, offer ideas, and draw free sample sketches.
We stay with them through the design process, revisions, pricing, and ordering. We are also there when materials are delivered, and regularly on site during construction. One thing we particularly like is to visit after the home is built – and hear about the joys of living in a Ward log home.

Kenneth and Phyllis Meier
BioKenneth and Phyllis Meier
We are Ken and Phyllis Meier of Hartington, NE. We are life long residents of northeast Nebraska and both grew up on farms in the area. We love the outdoors and enjoy all outdoor activities. We decided to build a log home that would allow us to go and get away from the rat race and enjoy the piece and quiet that one can achieve when living in a log home. We designed our own home and Ward helped us to achieve the home that we wanted that matched our style. We believe that anyone who wishes to experience the joy of a log home should have that opportunity and we are here to help you, from the planning state to the final moment when you walk through the door into your dream home. We will listen to you and help you to achieve the home that you want.

Jeremy Elliott
Black Mountain Legacies, LLC
BioJeremy Elliott
At Black Mountain Legacies, we know that a cabin is much more than a place to rest your head on a pillow at night; a cabin is a place where love is shared, laughter is loud, and memories are made. A cabin is a legacy passed on from generation to generation.
Here, standing against the legacy my Grandparents built together with their 7 children in 1971 I reminisce the many memories of our family gathering together frequently laughing and loving one another and growing together in the cabin that I am now blessed to call home with Stephanie and our fur kids (boxer dogs) Bentley and Lileigh.
Having been a part of the construction of hundreds of cabins throughout NH, VT, and even ME, with my Dad building a cabin is about much more than just another home being built for my family. Building a cabin is about quality, tradition, hard work, love, laughter, and together building a legacy that will be carried on for many years.
Call us or email us today and let us show you the life our family has been living since 1971.

Paul Dillaway and Deb Temm
BioPaul Dillaway and Deb Temm
Thank you for visiting our page. My partner, Debbie, and I absolutely love our Ward home nestled in the foothills of the White Mountains of NH. Our home and floor plan can be viewed under the “Hybrid Homes” section of the company website. We, like the clear majority of Ward clients, designed our own home. With lots of compromises, even competing miniature model homes that we each built and outside input, we managed to complete the process.
We would certainly enjoy sharing our experiences, knowledge gained as well as successes and failures with you to assist you in any way possible in creating your dream home. We invite you and would most welcome you to visit with us at our home in Madison, NH. our home is a log sided home (hybrid) which some visitors find difficult to believe as it looks so much like what they would expect to see in a traditional stacked log home. We incorporated many energy efficient design features including a geo thermal heating system which resulted in our home earning a Five Star Plus energy efficiency rating. Yes, log homes can be energy efficient!
I would like to share with you just a brief bit of personal information as a further way of introduction. I am a retired school teacher and retired real estate agent. I should probably add that I am a do-it-yourselfer and after help with getting a weather tight shell did almost all the remaining carpentry of my home. I would be willing and most enjoy sharing any tips and lessons that i learned along the way. Debbie is a registered nurse and works full-time at our local hospital.
Once again, thank you for visiting and we would love to hear from you.
